Job Summary

The Community Associate Vice President (AVP) supports market-level Community growth by executing prospecting and community engagement activities, supporting events and follow‑up, and partnering closely with the Lead Community RVP to expand advisor activities, partner firm support, and centers‑of‑influence (COI) development. This role is designed as a development pathway to a full Community RVP role and includes a clear trajectory toward carrying an individual target.

Essential Job Functions

  • No internal competition for leads, dollars, or clients. Roles, routing, and rules are designed to promote collaboration and avoid conflicts.
  • Mentorship by the Lead RVP. The structure should create consistent opportunities for the Lead Community RVP to mentor and develop the AVP.
  • Deliberate AVP growth path to RVP. Responsibilities are structured to expand scope and autonomy over time.
  • Proactive clarity on splits and attribution. Use clear formulas, rules, and documentation to prevent issues before they arise.
  • Future readiness. The AVP will carry an individual target within a year, with a defined plan and milestones to reach and sustain performance.

  • COI outreach support: conduct outreach to potential COIs and support meeting scheduling and follow‑up in coordination with the Lead Community RVP.
  • Campaign execution: run pinpoint campaigns and targeted prospect outreach based on defined lists, themes, and market priorities.

  • Process discipline: follow documented workflows for lead routing, handoffs, and attribution; surface issues early and propose process improvements.

onprofits/M4YC; execute partner firm support with high reliability.
  • Readiness indicators: ability to generate and progress qualified opportunities; strong follow‑through and documentation; effective collaboration and conflict‑free lead handling; growing independence in meetings and follow‑ups.
  • Targets: AVP is expected to carry an individual target within a year (target definition and measurement to be specified by market/leadership) with quarterly milestones, pipeline coverage expectations, and a documented plan for attainment.
  • Mentorship cadence: recurring 1:1 coaching with Lead RVP focused on skill development, deal strategy, and role expansion.
