Job Summary
The role is responsible for delivering all facets of recruitment success for assigned units. This position delivers high-quality candidates and creates a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers through proactive communication and service.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and engage candidates through proactive approaches.
- Review, pre‑screen, and interview candidates to determine the appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Process internal transfer requests.
- Present candidate pool to the hiring manager in a timely manner.
- Regular follow‑up with respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
- Determine compensation offers through the application of authorized methodology and extend job offers.
- Initiate post‑offer processes upon candidate acceptance of a contingent offer.
- Coordinate and attend recruitment events.
- Reconcile computer reports: recruitment work list to position control and to position manager to ensure consistent reporting statistics.
- Make decisions effectively under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with general instructions from supervisors.
- Work with internal and external customers, frequently interacting with individuals at the director level or above.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least one (1) year of related experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively and efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of general human resources practices, including state and federal regulations related to employment.
- Working knowledge of effective recruiting/marketing strategies.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
- Working knowledge of electronic reporting and communication systems.
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or a closely related field.
