Marketing Copywriter – Integrated Brand & Campaigns

Location: Chicago, Plano, Richmond, Mclean NYC | Hybrid (3 days onsite weekly but VERY flex while on contract)

Open to candidates sitting out of major office locations including Richmond, McLean, Plano, Chicago, or NYC

Schedule: Must work EST hours regardless of location

Compensation: $45/hr

Duration: 12-month contract with strong potential for extension and possible conversion


About the Opportunity

My client, a major nationally recognized financial and consumer brand, is seeking a strong integrated Marketing Copywriter to join a highly collaborative creative team focused on building awareness and engagement around an innovative café and lifestyle-focused business line.

This role sits on a creative team made up of Art Directors and Copywriters supporting integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, in-person activations, and broader brand storytelling initiatives. The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused — someone who can think big picture while also delivering strong channel-specific copy across multiple audience touchpoints.

The team is open to candidates from a variety of industries and does not want to focus solely on financial services backgrounds. They are looking for adaptable, well-rounded copywriters with strong conceptual thinking, sharp brand voice instincts, and portfolios that clearly demonstrate punchy, engaging marketing copy across multiple channels.


Responsibilities:

• Write and develop marketing copy across integrated campaigns including digital, email, social media, in-person activations, and branded customer experiences

• Create headlines, RTBs, campaign messaging, and channel-specific marketing copy aligned to brand voice and creative briefs

• Partner closely with Art Directors, strategists, and cross-functional creative teams on campaign execution and storytelling

• Support both conceptual campaign development and detailed executional copywriting across various marketing touchpoints

• Adapt tone and messaging for multiple audiences and platforms while maintaining brand consistency

• Participate in brainstorms, creative reviews, and integrated campaign development discussions

• Collaborate within a fast-paced, highly team-oriented creative environment


Qualifications:

• 5+ years of copywriting experience within integrated marketing environments

• 3+ years of agency and/or client-side experience

• Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, integrated campaign work, and channel-specific marketing copy

• Experience writing across multiple channels including social, email, digital marketing, and brand campaigns

• Ability to write punchy, engaging copy with adaptable brand voice across different audiences

• Familiarity with creative briefs and integrated campaign strategy

• Proficiency with Google Workspace/G-Suite required

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma preferred

• Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and collaborative/team-oriented approach
