About this Position
Responsible for selling Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions to printers, graphic houses, and fulfillment companies within an assigned account list. This role requires living within a reasonable commuting distance to the assigned office city and state in order to effectively perform job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Develop strategies to penetrate accounts with key decision makers within the assigned account list, focusing on placing Canon equipment and solutions in new accounts.

Report customer activity to management, identifying customer requirements, competitive trends, and changing environments.

Develop strategic plans to address customer requirements on a local basis, including short‑term and long‑term goals.

Provide marketing, technical, and administrative support to named accounts’ internal departments to ensure outstanding relations and excellent customer support in all facets of daily activity.

Develop plans to introduce/place Canon technology, service, software, and third‑party solutions to address customer requirements.

Establish high‑level relationships with the customer base to enhance long‑term working partnerships.

Gain new market share through strategic prospecting and the ability to meet customer requirements by utilizing all available resources efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, plus at least five years of related experience.

Experience in office technology, business‑to‑business, and outside sales.

Strong communication skills and a desire to build solid working relationships.

Interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry.

Ability to work autonomously with excellent time‑management skills.

Some travel within the local market may be required, including overnights; a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are necessary.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $60,000 – $81,550 annually.

Incentive compensation is eligible under the applicable plan; at 100% quota the anticipated incentive compensation is $76,582 annually.

Additional benefits include a transportation allowance, medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) savings plan, discretionary profit sharing, discretionary success sharing, educational assistance, recognition programs, and vacation.
