You will be the

Director of Talent Management

on the

HR Team . As a strategic advisor to business leaders, you will focus on aligning people strategies with business goals and driving organizational performance.

Responsibilities

Strategic planning: collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals and long‑term planning.

Talent management: oversee performance management, identify high‑potential employees, and develop talent strategies such as succession and retention.

Performance management: continuously evolve performance competencies and development frameworks to ensure talent continues to improve and drive business results.

Talent programs: partner with program presidents to develop and implement programs and initiatives designed to enhance the talent value proposition, such as incentives and rewards.

Employee relations: resolve complex employee issues, coach managers, and conduct investigations.

Organizational development: drive change‑management initiatives, restructure, and improve organizational design.

Training and development: identify skill gaps and conduct needs assessments; identify skill development training opportunities.

Data analysis: use HR metrics and data to drive insights on turnover, hiring, performance, KPIs, and other indicators.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (required); Master’s (MBA/MS HR) preferred.

8–12 years of progressive HR experience in an HRBP role.

Insurance, financial, or professional services experience preferred.

Executive presence and trusted advisor to senior leaders.

Expertise in org design, workforce planning, and change leadership.

Experience in employee relations, investigations, and risk mitigation.

Talent management expertise in performance, leadership development, and succession planning.

Experience with growth/M&A integration and team assimilation.

Ability to support specialized talent segments.

Strategic, hands‑on HR leader capable of delivering end‑to‑end in lean teams.

Workforce analytics and advanced Excel skills (attrition, productivity, spans, cost ratios).

HRIS proficiency (e.g., Workday).

HR certifications preferred (e.g., SHRM‑CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR).

Location

This role is hybrid—based out of our NYC Midtown office.

Compensation & Perks

$160,000 - $180,000 base salary plus yearly cash bonus; salary commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.

Summer Fridays: leave at 2:00 PM all Fridays from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
