What We Need
The Sports Business Unit is looking for an Associate Publishing Producer to work across our AAA Sports franchises.
You will be part of the overall Sports Publishing Production team, supporting live and in‑development games.
What You Will Do
- Lead publishing workstreams such as Age Ratings, User Research and Localisation, ensuring development teams meet internal milestones on time, on budget, and to quality.
- Lead the asset approval process across in‑game content, covering licence and legal approvals.
- Support QA and 1st‑Party Submissions pipelines, ensuring timely delivery of launch content and post‑launch patches.
- Collaborate with 2K Product Management on production tasks related to live ops, such as content allocation and testing coordination.
- Partner with our Sports Business Unit internally, ensuring Marketing and Commercial teams can operate with organisational clarity.
- Act as a trusted expert for the games you work on, understanding mechanics and content in depth.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
What Will Make You a Great Fit
- 2+ years of experience in internal or external game development, ideally on AAA and/or Live Service games.
- Previous experience in project management and production.
- Strong communication skills; translate technical development speak into clear updates for non‑technical teams, verbally and in writing.
- Quick learner who can pick up new tools, technologies, and processes rapidly and seek structured support when blocked.
- Reliable, trustworthy relationship‑builder who instils confidence in development partners.
- Awareness of the gaming market and current industry trends relating to our games.
- Understanding of the game development lifecycle at a high level, from inception to global launch.
- Highly coachable, actively seeking constructive feedback and adopting a growth mindset.
- A "No Ego" approach, proactively seeking feedback and believing the team wins when the product succeeds.
What Tools You’ll Have Experience With
- Adept with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
- Adept with Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with Jira.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with golf and its culture.
- Experience playing AAA sports or other live service games.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is $85,700 to $126,860 per year, subject to market location and candidate qualifications. The total compensation package may include a bonus, equity awards, and eligibility for a 401(k) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Regular full‑time employees are eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, 14 paid holidays per year, paid vacation (15–25 days) or discretionary time‑off options, up to 10 paid sick days, paid parental and compassionate leave, wellbeing programs for mental health, family planning support through Maven, commuter benefits, and fitness‑related expense reimbursements.
