The Dealer Finance Manager role is located in the Thermo King Americas business unit and provides strategic and operational finance leadership for the Company Owned Dealer channel. The position reports to the Thermo King Dealer General Manager and works closely with the Dealer General Manager, their leadership team, and the overall sales organization to drive and manage bookings, revenue, operations, standard margin, and overhead expenses. The role is instrumental in supporting Dealer integration, the largest growth lever for the business, and establishing standards for our internal Dealer network.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and manage complex business modelling scenarios for leadership decision making; translate insights into action with cross‑functional teams

Develop the Thermo King Dealer channel financial acumen through integration, standard setting, focused training, and strong partnership on business performance

Partner with Dealer General Manager to lead and prepare channel’s Monthly Operating Review and Quarterly Operating Review

Maintain reporting and dashboard packages to convey business results, identify risk and opportunities with the sales team and finance leadership

Manage the Thermo King Dealer channel close cycle, forecasting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long‑Range Plan (LRP)

Lead the consolidation of Bookings and Revenue financial planning inclusive of weekly pulse, monthly Risks and Opportunities, Forecast, AOP, and LRP

Partner with District General Managers to develop comprehensive business cases for product lines, customers deals, real estate, and other cases to support decision‑making

Partner with HR and Finance on compensation planning inclusive of plans design, target setting, and management

Drive financial excellence through strong controllership, continuous improvement, and standard work in processes. Leverage analytics to drive finance transformation and greater business insights

Partner with Pricing, Sales, Marketing, IT & various Finance teams on continuous improvement projects to drive visibility and insights on total customer programs and Net Customer Margin

Lead a team of accounting and finance professionals supporting their growth, development, and coaching

What you will bring

Four‑year degree in accounting or finance required; MBA and/or CPA preferred

10+ years of experience within the Finance function of a publicly held global Corporation required

Commercial controllership experience required

Excellent communicator with demonstrated influencing skills and the ability to build and leverage internal and external alliances with an elevated level of social and cultural sensitivity

Collaborator with a strong ability to build relationships and instill confidence and trust with executive management and stakeholders

Experience leading teams in financial cycles such as actuals, budgeting, and forecasting

Ability to identify, lead and execute process improvements to drive change, efficiency and standardization of the company’s finance processes; experience implementing MRP/ERP/CRM is a plus

Possess excellent organization and time management skills to oversee several assignments at one time and work in a matrix organization

Experience leading analytics projects to drive transformation and improve business insight

Elevated level of proficiency analyzing financial information and converting into actionable insights for business partners

Compensation
Annual Base Salary Range: $123,721.66 - $199,300.00. Compensation Type: Salary. Incentive Eligible: Yes. Sales Commission Eligible: No. Actual compensation will depend on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
