Seasonal Position
SeaWorld San Diego is excited to open auditions for the Monster Stomp Dancer (Performer II) role. This seasonal position invites enthusiastic individuals to rehearse and perform a 25‑minute spooky show with high‑intensity dancing, blocking, and acting two to three times a night.

Saturday, June 20th, 2026 – Check‑in 11:30 AM, Start 12:00 PM, Monologue 3:00 PM

Monday, June 22nd, 2026 – Check‑in 11:30 AM, Start 12:00 PM, Monologue 3:00 PM

Venue
Culture Shock Training Academy, 2110 Hancock St. Ste 200, San Diego, CA 92110.

Responsibilities

Rehearse and perform a 25‑minute Monster Stomp show with high‑intensity dancing, blocking, and acting two to three times a night.

Ensure guests leave with lasting spooky memories.

Execute stage direction and show content as directed by Event and Show Producers.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Animated, fun, and outgoing personality.

Previous guest experience in a high‑volume capacity preferred.

Ability to openly accept performance feedback and adapt.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Ability to work varying shifts and hours based on park operational schedule.

Consistently and expertly execute stage direction and show content.

Preferred previous experience in Theme Park Entertainment, Dance, Theatre, or related field.

Able to work in an environment with atmospheric effects.

Strong verbal communication skills.

Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.

Physical activities including kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and vocalizations such as screams and wails.

Flexible in work locations.

Team player and collaborative mindset.

Availability

Flexible availability every week from mid‑August 2026 through November 1, 2026.

Available on event dates beginning 9/11/26 (Thursdays–Sundays).

Rehearsal dates TBD.

Overall availability will be taken into consideration.

Compensation

19 USD per hour for non‑performing shifts.

25.00 USD per operational shift.
