The position requires a hybrid schedule: Tuesdays through Thursdays in our South Charlotte, NC or New York, NY office, with optional remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

Red Ventures Growth & Transformation (RVGT) is seeking a Creative Manager to join our growing Creative Team. The role involves developing consumer‑facing products for external partnerships within the Financial Institution space, managing a team of product or content designers, and applying user‑centered design processes and research. You should be passionate about creative problem solving, user‑experience, and have a solid foundation in both UX and UI design.

Responsibilities will be cross‑functional, working closely with product managers, software engineers, researchers, and content designers. The role also requires occasional travel to partner locations for relationship management and business objectives.

What You’ll Do

Deliver highly polished visual designs and extend existing design systems

Optimize UX/UI patterns systematically, following design system guidelines

Develop subject‑matter expertise, understand user problems, business goals, competitors, and gaps

Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content design to oversee the experience from concept to launch

Communicate confidently with senior level partners

Use tooling and collaboration to craft and implement high‑performance UX copy

Collaborate with marketing and product teams to utilize UX research insights across businesses

Balance user needs and business goals effectively

Support teammates through collaboration, critique, and feedback

Build prototypes to validate designs, iterate based on data and findings

Take ownership, be autonomous, and manage detail and accountability at every step

Manage and mentor creatives, sharing insights in critique sessions

Balance project execution and management responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

5+ years designing consumer‑focused tech across web, mobile, apps, and other platforms

1+ year managing a designer or multiple designers

Track record of leading teams that deliver user value and business results

Portfolio demonstrating polished visual design, interaction design, typography, usability, and creative strategy

Fluency in Figma, prototyping, and design systems

Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of delivering a strategy to life

Comfort presenting to and receiving feedback from senior stakeholders

Eagerness to learn and apply new AI technologies in design ops

Understanding of the financial world’s intricacies

Capability to use extensive user research and data insights to improve outcomes

Nice To Haves

Experience leading or running UX research testing initiatives through platforms like Userlytics

Animation and branding experience

Familiarity with SEO best practices

Compensation

Total Cash Compensation Range: $100,000 – $140,000 per year

New York City Total Cash Compensation Range: $125,000 – $165,000 per year
