Photographer

to join our Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) team to photograph and image coins with exacting standards. The work is repetitive, requires focus, and involves working closely with a small team while handling some of the greatest treasures of American and World history.

What You’ll Do

Produce photographs of coins in accordance with industry standards as established by lead photographer.

Ensure photographs satisfy the exacting standards of our clientele.

Use specialized photography and studio lighting techniques.

Apply in‑house photographic processes established by lead photographer and software developers.

Who You Are

3+ years of experience in photography.

Knowledge of Canon EOS system, lighting, and other manual photographic techniques.

Experience with Mirror Systems (DSLR) and Adobe Photoshop.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Understanding and ability to relay company policies and procedures.

Creativity and flexibility when appropriate.

Ability to plan and accomplish goals and deliver products in a timely manner.

Soft Skills

Artistic eye with a natural collector of moments and visual inspiration.

Committed to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and techniques.

Adaptable to a variety of shooting environments and able to adjust to client needs.

Open to feedback and receptive to constructive input to meet the brand vision.

Strong eye for color, exposure, and composition, able to frame compelling, emotive shots.

Physical Requirements

Sitting and standing for extended periods.

Repetitive motion.

Handle all items with care.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is $26.00–$30.00 per hour. Actual compensation in this range will be based on a variety of non‑discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
