Deutsche Bank’s Wealth Management business is one of the largest wealth managers worldwide and we offer our clients a broad range of traditional and alternative investment solutions, as well as comprehensive advice on all aspects of Wealth Management. We specialise in developing bespoke solutions for clients worldwide, including wealth planning across generations and borders, asset management with individual risk management, loans, and deposits. As the Senior Relationship Manager, you will be a primary point of contact for clients to access the full suite of wealth management capabilities and solutions offered by Deutsche Bank Wealth Management. You will work closely with the Investment Manager to plan and service clients day‑to‑day, acquiring new clients and assets in line with the bank’s business proposition, and growing existing relationships to ensure a holistic, high‑standard client experience.

What You’ll Do

Develop, manage, and maintain the overall relationship with the client, providing a holistic client experience and serving as the first point of contact for complaints

Perform continuous market analysis to identify potential client leads and opportunities, focusing on new client acquisition and asset growth, while sustaining long‑term relationships

Proactively identify client lending/financing needs and involve lending specialists to develop opportunities

Act as the Accountable Client Owner, responsible for all Anti‑Money Laundering aspects of the client relationship, including timely Know Your Client and monitoring account behavior for suspicious transactions

Work closely with product, coverage, and support functions to deliver Deutsche Bank’s value proposition and leverage other divisions where possible

How You’ll Lead

Willingly develop other staff, such as analysts

Uphold the team’s operating rhythm (e.g., prospect reviews, pipeline reviews, account planning), leading by example and demonstrating role‑model behaviour

Act within professional, legal, and ethical boundaries, observing all internal and external compliance regulations and code of ethics, and flagging and managing reputational risks and conflicts

Skills You’ll Need

Bachelor’s Degree required—CFA, MBA, or other advanced degree is a plus

Strong understanding of governing regulatory frameworks (e.g., RDR, MiFID II), confidentiality, data protection, and cross‑border rules where relevant

Solid network of clients in the target coverage market

Skills That Will Help You Excel

Detail‑oriented with excellent communication, collaboration skills and superior investment acumen

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the San Francisco or Los Angeles office in accordance with Deutsche Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in California is $220,000 to $350,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
