About the Role
The PBM/Pharmacy focused Account Manager will handle day-to-day relationships with their clients, working to troubleshoot and respond to different types of requests. This role is a cross-functional opportunity where you will work with multiple partners to find client solutions. You will be handling communications, project management, reporting, analyzing trends, solving member issues, and addressing emergent needs for your clients.
Responsibilities
As the Account Manager, you will be one of the faces of Crumdale Specialty, whom your clients and PBM partners interact with daily. In addition, you will:
Interact with internal Crumdale associates to support client strategy and initiatives
Coordinate client and internal team meetings
Assist PBM Strategic Account Executives with implementation tasks to ensure a smooth transition of clients from other organizations
Prepare and provide clients with performance reports; present when applicable
Use critical thinking skills to proactively manage client issues
Document and triage client-related issues/escalations
Escalate high-priority items to the management team
Build relationships with brokers, consultants, TPA and employers
Proactively provide follow-ups and feedback to brokers/consultants and clients
Complete assigned tasks and projects according to appropriate timelines agreed upon with client and internal stakeholders
Skills
Client customer service experience with ability to build trust and establish meaningful relationships
Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Individual should possess strong project management skills
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to manage to strict deadlines
Self-starter who can thrive in a high-growth, entrepreneurial startup environment
Deep-rooted knowledge of the PBM industry and current industry trends
Knowledge of PBM contracts, pricing, clinical/financial programs and trend management
Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills within a client relationship management setting with internal and external parties
Fundamental knowledge of pharmacy, market trends and competitive landscape, with an ability to assess and consider these factors when developing solutions
Solid understanding of health and welfare benefits claims processing and claims payment administration
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable and poised in any setting from small face-to-face meetings to large conference-like presentations
Effectively build trust and establish meaningful relationships within clients, vendors and internal departments
Solid financial acumen, with an understanding of marketplace economics
Collaborate with C-suite & internal and external partners (e.g. brokers, TPAs, Employers, PBMs, partners and Crumdale)
Independent critical thinker with strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative group setting
Solid organizational skills and must be able to adhere to strict deadlines
Must be able to demonstrate integrity and a commitment to values
Proficient with MS Office suite
Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and Citrix SharePoint
