In Office Culture
At Elevation, we enjoy being in office together and we are passionate about culture, collaboration, learning and the community that it creates, and we are looking for employees who value this as well. We were meant to work together, not alone! All our roles are full-time on-site roles, with two work-from-home days a month or four half days a month and we are flexible when it comes to life emergencies that requires additional flexibility from time to time. We are closed between Christmas and New Years. We do offer flexible hours based on client demands and department structure and typically that means an employee may be able to start at any time between 7 AM and 9 AM and finish between 4 PM and 6 PM.
Role Summary
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for owning programs and smaller accounts end-to-end, managing execution, client communication, and early-stage growth. The Sr. AE plays a critical role in bridging execution and growth, ensuring that programs not only run efficiently, but also evolve based on performance, client needs, and emerging opportunities. This role begins to operate with greater independence in both client leadership and growth contribution.
Marketing Knowledge & Activities
- Demonstrates working knowledge of branding, positioning, messaging, and campaign strategy principles.
- Assists in developing campaign briefs, marketing plans, audience strategies, and channel recommendations.
- Understands how different marketing disciplines contribute to demand generation and business growth.
- Conducts research on competitors, industries, customers, and market trends to support strategic planning.
- Reviews campaign performance metrics and provides observations regarding opportunities, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Supports development of content marketing, digital marketing, lead generation, and event marketing programs.
- Begins contributing strategic recommendations during planning and client discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Owns (with supervision) 1–4 smaller accounts
- Supports 6-10 accounts
- Leads execution of multi-channel marketing programs across digital (paid and organic), content and campaign initiatives, creative development and production, website or landing page initiatives
- Serves as the primary day-to-day client contact for assigned programs or smaller accounts
- Manages all aspects of program execution, including timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and internal coordination
- Develops and refines program-level briefs and execution plans aligned to client objectives
- Ensures all deliverables meet quality standards, strategic intent, and client expectations
- Manages feedback loops efficiently, ensuring revisions are handled accurately and promptly
- Coordinates cross-functional teams and ensures alignment across all contributors
- Maintains full visibility into all active workstreams and program performance
- Identifies and drives program-level expansion opportunities, including additional deliverables, new campaign elements, optimization initiatives, and expanded channel usage
- Recommends enhancements based on campaign performance, client feedback, and observed gaps in execution
- Engages clients in discussions that uncover new initiatives, unmet needs, and opportunities for broader engagement
- Supports development and presentation of expanded scopes of work
- Participates in early-stage growth and expansion conversations
- Builds strong, trust-based relationships with client stakeholders
- Demonstrates reliability and ownership in all client interactions
- Mentors Account Coordinators and Account Executives, ensuring execution quality
- Supports development of account-level opportunity pipelines
- Anticipates client needs based on historical performance, industry trends, and ongoing communication
- Drives execution of expanded programs once approved
- Able and willing to execute all duties and responsibilities for the account coordinator, sr. account coordinator, account executive, and sr. AE roles
- Growth & Account Penetration Expectations
- Contributes to and begins executing account penetration plans at the program level
- Identifies opportunities to expand within current programs, across adjacent services, and into additional campaigns or initiatives
- Builds relationships that enable broader organizational access over time
- Begins transitioning from reactive execution to proactive growth contribution
- Expected to surface opportunities consistently, support development of expansion strategies, and assist in converting opportunities into revenue
- While not fully accountable for total account growth, plays a direct and measurable role in expansion within programs
Experience and Skill Sets
- Typically, 4–7 years of experience in a marketing, advertising, or agency environment
- Exposure to 30–50 client programs or engagements, with increasing ownership
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multi-channel programs, lead execution across multiple marketing disciplines, plus maintain quality and timelines under pressure
- Hands-on experience across integrated marketing channels, including paid media and digital campaigns, content strategy and execution, creative production workflows, and website or campaign development
- Strong understanding of how marketing programs are structured and executed, how channels work together to drive outcomes, and how performance data informs optimization.
- Experience communicating directly with clients and managing expectations
- Demonstrated ability to: translate client needs into actionable plans, identify opportunities within existing work, and contribute marketing ideas that improve marketing performance.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, operate independently with minimal oversight, and deliver consistent, high-quality work

Compensation & Benefits
Elevation strives to provide some of the best agency compensation and benefit packages in the great southwest. Salary range for this job is targeted at $60,000-$80,000+ based on experience, skill set and agency experience. The job is in Gilbert, AZ (just off the Loop 202 expressway) and less than one mile from over 50 restaurants. Our business is all about collaboration, so we do not offer telecommuting currently, but we do offer flex hours depending on the position and clients. Employees can start at any time between 7 AM and 9 AM and finish between 4 PM and 6 PM based on client demands and department structure. Elevation pays for 95% of employee’s life, health and long-term disability insurance. Elevation offers vision, dental and a variety of other benefits that an employee can purchase.
