Overview:
I'm working on a Senior Sales Director role with a boutique legal services firm at the forefront of eDisclosure, managed review and legal technology. This is a true hunter role: you'll own new business development across the midwestern market, with a specific focus on Chicago, winning net-new logos and building a high-quality pipeline with support from an established marketing function. It suits a full-cycle seller who is happiest in-market, face to face with clients and prospects, and comfortable building senior relationships across legal services and legal-tech decision makers.

eDiscovery and litigation services
Document review
Digital forensics
A suite of tools (including, but not limited to, Relativity)
Responsibilities of this Senior Sales Director:
Build and execute a new business plan for the Chicago market, covering law firms and corporates
Generate and qualify pipeline, owning the full sales lifecycle through to close
Forecast accurately and maintain strong pipeline hygiene through your CRM
Conduct in-person meetings with key stakeholders across the Greater Chicago area
Build trusted, long-term relationships with customers, prospects and partners
Work closely with internal eDiscovery Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure smooth handovers and strong client outcomes
Collaborate with marketing to convert inbound and campaign activity into qualified opportunities
Requirements of this Senior Sales Director:
Proven full-cycle sales performance in eDiscovery services and/or legal tech
Track record of generating $1m+ in revenue in a full sales lifecycle role
Strong pipeline generation skills and a clear hunter mentality
Confident forecasting and managing a high-velocity, high-quality pipeline
Excellent relationship-building skills, both externally and internally (especially with PMs and delivery teams)
Comfortable being in-market and client-facing regularly, with strong time management and planning
Comp and benefits:
$150,000 to $185,000 + variable commission
