Job Summary
As a Technical Editor, you will design, develop, produce, and advise on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that support the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC). Your work will help inform key audiences, promote our organization’s reputation, and deliver high‑quality intelligence products in support of our clients.
Responsibilities
Develop creative solutions to complex technical editing problems.
Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients to deliver high‑quality intelligence products.
Oversee and author various intelligence products and content while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with DoD/IC standards.
Clarify, verify, and produce technical information for DoD or IC audiences.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Experience writing and editing professional products for multiple audiences.
Knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and style guides.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet often tight deadlines.
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
HS diploma or GED with 12+ years of technical editing experience in a DoD or IC environment, or Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
Preferred Skills
Experience in an Intelligence Analyst or support role.
Experience supporting senior leaders.
Knowledge of DoD or IC systems and processes.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation
Salary is determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
