2nd Shift Production Supervisor-Full-time Immediate need

Job Summary
The Production Supervisor oversees daily production activities. You will manage workloads, workflow, and coverage to ensure on‑time delivery. You will also handle employee training, performance, engagement, and safety compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Meet Targets : Ensures the team meets 100% of service goals daily.
Manage Workflow : Supervises daily tasks, employees, and workflow from setup to completion.
Plan Coverage : Works with leadership to balance workloads across the team.
Train Staff : Onboards new hires and provides ongoing coaching.
Improve Performance : Finds skill gaps and creates plans to fix them.
Reduce Risk : Cross‑trains employees to expand team capabilities.
Communicate Well : Gives honest, constructive feedback to team members and peers.
Escalate Issues : Manages employee problems, escalates to leadership and Human Resources as needed.
Help Out : Assists with daily operational tasks to meet team goals.
Follow Rules : Adheres to standard operating procedures in all activities.
Fix Problems : Investigates production issues and helps implement lasting fixes.
Enforce Safety : Actively participates in the Safety Team.
Fill In : Steps in for leadership team members when they are away.
Track Inventory : Maintains a neat facility, counts stock, and orders supplies.
Serve as Liaison : Acts as the link between operations and customer service.
Organize Materials : Stages materials for machine operators.
Check Quality : Manages changes, expedites orders, and signs off on product quality.
Fix Machines : Submits and tracks equipment repair tickets to keep machines running.
Pack Shipments : Prepares goods for nightly pickup.
Required Skills and Abilities
Work Under Pressure : Handles high workloads and deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
Lead Teams : Experience leading teams in a high‑volume production environment.
People Skills : Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Tech Savvy : Highly skilled with computers, Microsoft Office, and new software.
Quality Control : Demonstrated ability to train others and oversee quality checks.
Self‑Directed : Looks for ways to improve work and eager to grow.
Basic Math : Knowledgeable in basic math, fractions, and percentages.
License : Valid driver's license.
Education and Experience
Degree : BA in Manufacturing, Business, or equal work experience.
Experience : 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
Process Knowledge : Lean manufacturing experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Lifting : Frequently lifts 10–20 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Standing : Ability to stand for 10–12 hours.
Moving : Ability to bend, push, and pull carts.
