What You Will Be Doing
Are you a creative problem‑solver who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, collaboration, and project execution? We are seeking an innovative Graphic Designer who can transform complex ideas into compelling visual experiences while effectively managing projects from concept through final delivery. This role is ideal for a designer who excels at visual storytelling, embraces emerging technologies, including AI‑powered creative tools, and understands the operational discipline required to successfully execute creative initiatives.

As a member of the Marketing and Trade Show team, you will support internal and external communications initiatives spanning advertising, marketing campaigns, trade shows, employee engagement efforts, executive communications, and brand storytelling. You will serve as both a steward of the Lockheed Martin brand and a trusted creative partner to stakeholders, helping translate strategic objectives into impactful visual solutions.

Beyond design execution, this role requires strong project management capabilities, including maintaining project documentation, organizing and tracking creative assets, managing budgets, coordinating timelines, and ensuring adherence to established business processes and workflows. The successful candidate will work directly with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define project requirements, develop production specifications, solicit and evaluate quotes, manage budgets, oversee production schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate brings a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across digital and print media, including web and social content, interactive experiences, motion graphics, presentations, environmental graphics, tradeshows, branding, and marketing collateral. Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset, a curiosity for new ideas and technologies, and a passion for sharing knowledge with others.

Desired Skills

Experience supporting print, digital, social media, presentation, environmental, and event‑related design projects

Strong understanding of design fundamentals, including typography, layout, color theory, hierarchy, accessibility, and user experience

Experience presenting creative concepts and design rationale to clients and stakeholders

Knowledge of production processes, including coordination with vendors, printers, fabricators, or production partners

Experience with trade shows, events, experiential marketing, or environmental graphics

Familiarity with related creative disciplines such as photography, videography, motion graphics, animation, web design, or content creation

Ability to maintain brand standards while delivering innovative creative solutions

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, and documentation

Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective partnerships across teams

Adaptability and willingness to learn emerging technologies, including AI‑assisted creative tools

Ability to work remotely
Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
