We are seeking an

experienced Lead Social Creative Strategist

to drive global digital and social marketing initiatives within a high-profile sports and lifestyle brand environment. This role will lead the development, execution, and optimization of year‑round social marketing strategies, content creation, creator partnerships, and consumer engagement programs across digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social media strategy, creative direction, content storytelling, consumer engagement, and basketball culture. This position requires an innovative leader who can translate live sporting moments, athlete narratives, and product stories into compelling social‑first content experiences that drive brand affinity and consumer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of 365‑day social marketing programs across multiple digital channels

Develop and implement social content strategies that maximize consumer engagement, brand relevance, and audience growth

Create and oversee social‑first storytelling, creative campaigns, branded content, and consumer experiences

Provide creative direction and content leadership aligned with real‑time sports culture and basketball events

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Brand Marketing, Creative, Sports Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Regional Marketing teams

Manage social content calendars and seasonal campaign execution across global digital platforms

Identify emerging social media trends, platform innovations, creator opportunities, and cultural moments

Leverage consumer insights, performance analytics, and social listening data to optimize content effectiveness

Partner with agencies, creators, production teams, and media partners to execute high‑impact campaigns

Develop measurement frameworks, reporting strategies, and optimization plans to evaluate campaign performance

Support seasonal marketing initiatives and product launches through integrated social marketing efforts

Present strategic recommendations, campaign concepts, and performance insights to leadership stakeholders

Required Experience

7–9+ years of professional experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Content Strategy, or Creative Marketing

5+ years of experience in Social Media Strategy and Creative Direction

Proven track record developing social content for highly visible consumer‑facing brands

Experience leading end‑to‑end social campaigns from concept development through execution and reporting

Strong understanding of basketball culture, sports marketing, and real‑time content creation

Experience working with cross‑functional marketing and creative teams in fast‑paced environments

Demonstrated success managing agency partners, creators, production teams, and external vendors

Experience creating content strategies across Instagram, X (Twitter), and other major social platforms

Education

Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required

Hybrid work model with onsite presence required

Friday work‑from‑home schedule

Flexibility required for occasional evening work aligned with live basketball games and events
