Technical Writer

Are you passionate about turning complex information intoclear, user-friendly content? We're looking for a detail-driven Technical Writer to create, edit, and manage technical materials across avariety of platforms—from web-based content to multimedia and print. In thisrole, you'll collaborate with subject matterexperts, maintain consistency across documentation, andensure timely publication of all materials. You'll alsohelp craft technical diagrams, work within content management systems, andfollow established style guidelines. What You’ll Do:

Create, develop, and edit operational and instructionaldocumentation across various formats including print, web-based, andmultimedia.

Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gatherinformation, define target audiences, and assess documentation needs.

Analyze processes, procedures, and system workflows toproduce clear, user-focused content for both technical and non-technicalaudiences.

Lead or contribute to documentation efforts across single ormultiple projects to enhance the usability and business value of companyproducts.

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Minimum of one (1) year of relevant technical writingexperience preferably in the software industry

Working knowledge of one or more of the following: AdobeFrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat Pro, help- system authoring tools, Microsoft VisualStudio Team Explorer, and Camtasia or other multimedia tools

Working knowledge of Yardi Documentation Handbook or YardiHelp Authoring Guide

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new tools,processes, and standards

Robust knowledge of document structuring, contentcommunications, and presentation techniques

Working knowledge of Microsoft Style Guide

Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts toaudiences that have varying degrees of technical ability

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Strong time management skills and an ability to takeaccountability for completing projects

Demonstrated ability to absorband retain information quickly, specifically complex technicalinformation

Demonstrated ability to analyze target audience and topresent ideas in user-friendly language

Ideal to Have:

Knowledge of applicable industry/field experience
