About the Team & Role Overview
The AMS Early Careers team is a critical driver in advancing TikTok’s global talent strategy by connecting with top-tier university students. The goal is to deliver engaging experiences that showcase TikTok’s culture and technology through high-impact events and programs, attracting and recruiting high‑potential students. The University Relations Specialist will lead initiatives that build and strengthen university relationships across the Americas, shaping and executing recruiting strategies, creating high‑value partnerships, and driving top‑of‑funnel talent acquisition.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Development: Lead efforts to build long‑term, impactful relationships with universities, strengthening TikTok's presence as an employer of choice.

Top‑of‑Funnel Talent Pipeline: Develop and execute initiatives to build and expand a diverse, high‑potential student pipeline into TikTok’s recruiting process.

Project Leadership & Coordination: Oversee and drive execution of events, career fairs, on‑campus sessions, and asset management, ensuring timely, on‑budget delivery and high quality.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, providing updates and serving as an ambassador for TikTok’s brand.

Engagement & Event Strategy: Design, plan, and execute innovative events to deepen engagement with university students, crafting content that communicates TikTok’s value proposition.

Data‑Driven Insights: Track, analyze, and report on program success, providing insights to drive continuous improvement and future strategy.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience leading and executing programs or events, preferably in early careers, talent acquisition, or HR.

Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.

Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn, and social media platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in campus recruitment, university relations, or early‑career talent programs.

Demonstrated ability to present confidently to large, diverse audiences, virtually and in person.

Experience with asset design or content creation for events and marketing materials.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in New York is $108,000 – $168,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
