Role Description

The San Francisco Seagulls Baseball Academy is seeking a College Summer Baseball Public Address Announcer for a full-time, on-site position located in San Bruno, CA.
The announcer will provide live commentary during college baseball games, including player introductions, in between inning announcements, playing player walk up music, playing inbetweem inning music and in-game updates. Responsibilities will also include operating sound equipment, announcing promotional events, engaging with the audience, and ensuring smooth execution of game-day entertainment. The role requires an enthusiastic presence, quick thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively with players, staff, and fans.

Qualifications

Strong verbal communication and public speaking skills, including clear and engaging delivery

Basic understanding of baseball rules and terminology

Experience operating audio equipment and managing live sound

Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and think on your feet

Professional demeanor, punctuality, and attention to detail

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Prior experience as a sports announcer or in a similar role is a plus

Passion for sports and enthusiasm for engaging audiences
