Automotive Inventory Photographer

Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Photographer for our partner dealers in Catonsville, Maryland!
Job Description

The role is responsible for photographing vehicles, uploading images to online platforms, and moving vehicles safely on dealership property. This is a production-based, hands‑on position requiring efficiency, consistency, and the ability to work independently in an outdoor dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities

Photograph new and used vehicles according to dealership standards
Capture exterior, interior, feature, and detail images
Stage and position vehicles for optimal presentation
Safely move vehicles on dealership property
Drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Upload and organize photos into inventory management systems
Ensure vehicles are clean and photo‑ready prior to photographing
Maintain consistency, accuracy, and daily photo volume targets
Communicate with sales and inventory teams regarding priority units
Identify and report visible damage or discrepancies
Maintain camera equipment and photography areas
Must‑Have Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
Basic computer and technology skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

Automotive photography experience
Dealership or automotive environment experience
Familiarity with inventory or merchandising systems
Basic photo editing or image correction knowledge
Experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras
Beneficial Types of Experience

Dealership porter or lot attendant
Automotive detailer or reconditioning experience
Vehicle inventory coordinator
Auction, wholesale, or fleet vehicle handling
Delivery driver experience (manual transmission exposure preferred)
