Role Overview
Digital Experience Specialist at Repligen supports development, optimization, and management of digital content across the company's web platforms, partnering with Digital Marketing leadership on the Shopify eCommerce experience. The role focuses on AI-optimized content, discoverability, eCommerce performance, UI/UX, accessibility, and overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

Support website and eCommerce content strategies aligned with organizational goals and digital marketing initiatives.

Partner with Digital Marketing leadership to optimize and operate the Shopify eCommerce experience, including product updates, merchandising, promotions, and site performance.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with digital marketing, creative, product, analytics, and operations teams.

Optimize website and eCommerce experiences for SEO, AI search visibility, UI/UX, accessibility, and conversion performance.

Utilize analytics and AI‑driven insights to inform content and eCommerce optimization decisions.

Ensure consistency in content structure, product presentation, branding, and overall digital experience standards.

Support ongoing testing and optimization efforts to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.

Stay current with SEO, AI search trends, generative AI tools, UI/UX best practices, and emerging digital technologies.

Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Shopify platform, including product pages, category structures, on‑site merchandising, and checkout flow.

Support promotions, campaigns, and product launches in collaboration with marketing and product teams.

Monitor eCommerce performance metrics such as revenue, conversion rate, cart abandonment, and user behavior.

Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey, checkout experience, and overall UI/UX.

Collaborate with development teams on Shopify enhancements, integrations, and feature improvements.

Build, update, and publish website and eCommerce content across pages, landing experiences, and product pages.

Partner with marketing teams to intake, structure, and deploy content using templates, taxonomy, and content models.

Maintain content accuracy, consistency, governance, and timeliness across digital properties.

Support content workflows, approvals, and publishing schedules within CMS and DXP platforms such as Pimcore, Shopify, WordPress, or similar systems.

Optimize content for traditional SEO and emerging AI‑driven search experiences, including generative search and answer‑engine optimization.

Structure content using semantic markup, structured data, and clear hierarchies for AI discoverability.

Leverage keyword intent, conversational search, and analytics tools (e.g., SEMrush, GA4, Power BI) to refine content strategies.

Use data‑driven analytics to track traction, engagement, conversion, revenue, and user journeys.

Support dashboards, reporting frameworks, and A/B testing for merchandising, UI/UX, and content optimization.

Support implementation of personalized content and product experiences based on user behavior, segmentation, and intent data.

Collaborate on dynamic content delivery and AI‑driven recommendation engines.

Maintain governance standards, workflows, version control, and publishing processes for scalable, AI‑ready content delivery.

Partner with demand generation, lifecycle marketing, creative, and SEO, analytics, UX, and development teams to improve performance across platforms.

Explore and implement emerging AI tools and digital technologies to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Contribute to digital transformation initiatives across web, commerce, and digital experience platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.

3 to 6 years of experience in website management, eCommerce, digital experience, or content operations roles.

Experience supporting Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.

Experience working within CMS and DXP platforms such as Pimcore, WordPress, or similar systems.

Strong understanding of SEO and emerging AI search optimization strategies.

Experience with analytics platforms such as GA4, Power BI, and eCommerce reporting tools.

Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for content and workflow optimization.

Ability to translate data and insights into actionable optimization recommendations.

Experience supporting personalization, UI/UX, and conversion optimization initiatives preferred.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and process management skills.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Experience working in cross‑functional and global environments is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America, is $95,000–110,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors, including qualifications, location, internal equity, and market data. Employees are eligible to participate in variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and receive equity as part of the compensation package. Benefits include paid time off, health/dental/vision, retirement benefits, and flexible spending accounts. All compensation and benefits information will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
