The Marketing Coordinator: Is a key member of the development team, supporting efforts to raise mission awareness and strengthen communication with donors, funders, and the broader community. This role focuses on executing consistent, high-quality marketing and communications that help tell the story of The Academy of Goal Achievers and deepen relationships with supporters.

The Marketing Coordinator will help bring the organization’s marketing plan to life through clear messaging, regular communication, and thoughtful storytelling.

Fundraising
Support marketing components of fundraising efforts and campaigns. Create clear, compelling materials for fundraising initiatives, events, and donor communication.

Ensure consistent communication with current donors, connecting their support to impact

Communications & Branding
Ensure consistent communication with current donors, connecting their support to impact, and lead new branding efforts around the strategic plan.

Increase awareness of The Academy of Goal Achievers’ mission through consistent, thoughtful communication

Develop and execute a communications approach that prioritizes storytelling and relationship-building

Create and manage content for newsletters, social media, and website

Manage social media platforms with a regular posting cadence

Capture and document stories, moments, and outcomes that reflect the organization’s impact

Support the organization’s presence at community events and public engagements as needed

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or any related industry and experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, community engagement, or a similar role within a nonprofit organization

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Canva and additional communication software

Passion for the mission of The Academy of Goal Achievers and a commitment to youth development
