The Role

Our Senior Line Producer is a seasoned production leader who owns the production process from scope through final wrap. This role sits at the intersection of creative collaboration, operational excellence, and financial accountability. They are equally comfortable in a budget spreadsheet and on set; they know how to create the conditions for great work to happen.
We're looking for someone who thinks like a journalist: curious, resourceful, and driven by the story as much as the schedule. Someone who gets genuinely excited about the people and subjects we cover, asks thoughtful questions, and brings curiosity to the work. We take what we make seriously. But we don't take ourselves too seriously.
Reporting to the Executive Producer, the Senior Line Producer leads production operations across our slate of brand documentaries, social content, and multiplatform productions. They partner closely with our Senior Post Producer to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity throughout the project life cycle. Post-production experience is a strong plus, as there will be opportunities to step into producing roles across post and animation projects.

Experience and Skills Required

7+ years of production experience at a creative studio, agency, or production company, including senior producing roles on live-action shoots. Documentary, editorial, or video journalism experience is a strong plus.
Proven track record leading productions across a range of budgets and formats, including brand films, documentaries, and social content.
Experience scoping and bidding projects; able to build accurate estimates and clearly articulate production assumptions.
Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and project profitability.
A well-developed network of crew, vendors, and production partners across the US.
Working knowledge of post-production workflows. Experience producing editorial, animation, or post projects is a plus.
Proficiency with production and payroll platforms such as Showbiz and Wrapbook.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Calm, resourceful, and solutions-oriented under pressure.
Genuinely curious about the subjects we cover, the people we work with, and the craft of storytelling.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $160,000.
Our salary offers take into consideration the skills and experience a candidate brings, pay equity across similar roles within GDP, and the market rate for similar roles outside of GDP. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant, along with the requirements of the position.
