Production Technician
Role Summary
We are looking for a hands‑on Production Technician to build small electronic and mechanical parts. This role involves cable assembly, soldering, and basic testing work. You will follow drawings and instructions and work as part of a small, friendly production team in a clean, first‑shift environment.
What You Will Do
Assemble small electronic and mechanical parts using hand tools
Build cable harnesses by cutting, stripping, crimping, routing, and soldering wires
Perform soldering on electronic parts and cables (fine, detailed work)
Work with fiber‑optic components when required
Read and follow electrical and mechanical drawings and work instructions
Measure and check parts using calipers, gauges, and tape measures
Test assemblies using meters, cable testers, and pull testers
Enter basic production and test data into the computer
Follow safety and quality rules, including ESD practices
Keep your work area clean and organized
Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals
Must‑Have Skills
Experience assembling small parts in a production or manufacturing environment
Hands‑on experience with cable or wire harness assembly
At least
6 months of soldering experience
Ability to read and understand electrical or mechanical drawings
Experience using hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, soldering iron, heat gun)
Good attention to detail and quality
Basic computer and data entry skills
Comfortable working as part of a team
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Experience with electronics assembly or testing
Experience working with fiber‑optic components
Familiarity with test equipment like pull testers or cable testers
Experience measuring parts using gauges and calipers
Experience Level
6 months to 3 years of experience in:
Electronics assembly
Cable or wire harness assembly
Production or manufacturing technician roles

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $20.00/hr.
