Remote Regional Account ManagerA growing agriculture company is hiring a Remote Regional Account Manager to build and grow the Yuma-El Centro/Imperial Valley, and San Diego County in a Southern California territory. This is a fully remote direct to distributor sales role focused on developing new business, managing relationships, and driving revenue within the agriculture fertility sector. The primary role of the Regional Account Manager is to promote the use and sale of company products in defined agriculture markets. The company offers a very competitive base salary and an aggressive commission structure. Candidates with established relationships with agricultural wholesalers and distributers in the territory will be prioritized.Key ResponsibilitiesCall on wholesale distributors, and agriculture retailers throughout Riverside, Imperial, San Diego, and Yuma CountiesLeverage current grower and distributor relationships to close new business for company productsConduct high impact farm visits and customer meetingsPresent solutions based on crop and grower needsManage pipeline and sales activityUtilize the company Agronomist as a expert resource to help drive salesAttend industry functions, events and trade showsTrack and enter all new and existing account activity into the CRM systemParticipate in weekly 1:1 meeting with manager to discuss weekly activity, monthly and quarterly goalsKey Qualifications:3+ years of B2B agricultural sales experienceA solid understanding of the different grow protocols and terminology used within the Ag industryCurrent relationships with growers and distributors in some or all identified geographic marketsA demonstrated record of quota achievementSelf-starter able successfully operate with limited management supervisionExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsAbility to succeed in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with drive to solve problemsCompetent use and understanding of Microsoft Office, and CRM softwareAlways maintain the highest level of professionalismAble to travel throughout the Imperial and Coachella Valley's, North San Diego County, and Inland EmpireMust currently reside in Yuma, AZ or Southern California and have a valid U.S. driver's licenseHighly Preferred:A background or degree in agronomy, plant science, or horticulture or experience in farming or in a grow facilityCertified Crop AdvisorBilingual English/SpanishPlease submit a current resume for consideration.
