Job Description
As a Client Manager II, you will cultivate relationships with entertainment and production companies to increase the Hertz Entertainment footprint in the growing Newark film and television market(s). You will deliver quality customer service, increase sales and revenue, handle customer issues and requests, and train new personnel. You will be empowered to make decisions independently and oversee daily reservation counts, vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and fleet management across multiple locations. Your role will involve learning the functions of each area and developing a working, on-site knowledge of the business to progress into management positions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver quality customer service and increase sales and revenue.
Handle customer issues and requests efficiently.
Train new personnel and supervise employees, setting expectations and providing corrective action.
Monitor daily and hourly reservation and return counts.
Manage vehicle make and model availability, preventive maintenance schedules, and fleet operations at multiple locations.
Execute plans and logistics, coordinating deliveries of vehicles to clients with precision.
Negotiate contracts and conduct sales analysis.
Make independent decisions and support overall business objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 1‑2 years of sales and customer service experience, preferably with high‑end clientele.
Management experience preferred.
Experience in the car rental industry, car sales, hospitality, or tourism is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Professional appearance and customer‑service focus.
Ability to drive and operate multiple types of vehicles, including high‑powered specialty vehicles, with safety and caution.
Salary: $81,000/yr.
