Are you looking to become one of our future stylists? If you have the desire, we have the expertise to help you get there. As a stylist in training in this temporary 90-day position, we are here to help you learn the trade while providing exceptional customer service on all communication channels.
What you will do:
You will learn the ins and outs of business growth and expense control by observing other stylists and managers. You will be on the front lines to greet clients and answer the phone. Your smile is your logo. Its not a glamorous job, but its necessary. You will keep the salon clean and adhere to safety standards.
As a stylist in training, you may be eligible for a promotion to a stylist position once you have received your license. You must earn it.

Heres how to get a stylist promotion:
To be considered for the promotion, you must: 1) hold a valid appropriate license in the state of employment; 2) be able to perform the tasks required by the license authorized by your state, including but not limited to cutting, styling, coloring, waxing, shampooing, and perming hair, with or without modification; and 3) demonstrate that you practice the values of Regis, namely honesty, responsibility, integrity, and respect.
We would love to hear from you if you meet the following qualifications:
You must be a graduate of an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary licenses to offer salon services within 90 days of the hire date or before.
You have good judgment and time management skills and wish to work in a dynamic salon environment.
You are good at communicating with clients, colleagues, and management.
You are tech-savvy to use our point-of-sale systems and enter data.
Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Physical requirements:
You must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. to stock retail shelves and, occasionally, lift 10 to 25 lbs. to help unload monthly product shipments.
You will be standing for most of the day.
You must be able to read, write, and do basic math.
You must be available to travel for mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight travel.
