Responsibilities
Lead and manage the company’s total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, and employee rewards programs
Design and implement competitive compensation programs for hourly, salaried, and executive-level employees
Develop and improve incentive plans, bonus structures, and pay strategies to support attraction and retention goals
Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
Manage annual merit increase cycles, salary structures, variable pay programs, and total rewards statements
Oversee administration of health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, and wellness programs
Lead annual open enrollment and benefits communication efforts for employees
Manage workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and workplace accommodations
Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA, OSHA, and other employment regulations
Maintain and optimize HRIS benefits administration systems, carrier feeds, and compliance modules
Partner with Finance, Payroll, Operations, and leadership to align total rewards programs with business goals
Analyze compensation and benefits data to drive recommendations and continuous improvement
Support employee communication and education around compensation, benefits, and rewards programs
Maintain strong relationships across departments to support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
Must have held a Total Rewards title/designation previously
8+ years of Human Resources or People Operations experience with strong focus on compensation and benefits
Deep experience designing and implementing multiple compensation programs, including hourly
on-exempt, salaried, and executive compensation
Strong subject matter expertise in compensation strategy, salary structures, incentive plans, and market benchmarking
Experience managing employee benefits programs and benefits administration
Knowledge of workers’ compensation, claims management, and return-to-work processes
Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration modules
Strong understanding of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA, OSHA, and related regulations
Must be willing to work onsite full-time
Preferred Experience
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)
Certified Workers Compensation Professional (CWCP)
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
Experience supporting hourly workforce compensation structures
