Role Description
This is a part time, on-site Jewelry Consultant role based at our Zales Jewelers store in Panama City Beach, FL. The Jewelry Consultant will greet customers, assess their needs, and guide them through product selections to create meaningful purchases for everyday wear and special moments. Responsibilities include explaining product features and benefits, presenting merchandise, and supporting customers with sizing, care, and maintenance questions. The role also involves maintaining visual standards, restocking displays, and ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting. The Jewelry Consultant will process transactions, handle returns or exchanges in line with store policies, and contribute to store sales goals through proactive engagement and follow-up with customers.

Qualifications

Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers and build trust.

Customer Service and Customer Experience skills, with a focus on creating welcoming, memorable in-store interactions.

Retail Sales experience, including working toward sales targets, handling POS systems, and managing basic cash procedures.

Interest in Jewelry Design and current style trends, with the ability to make thoughtful product recommendations.

Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise safely, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Collaborative mindset and reliability in a team-based retail environment.

Prior jewelry or fashion retail experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn product knowledge and store procedures is essential.

High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
