Growing privately owned insurance firm seeking a qualified Account Executive experienced managing a large book of business and servicing middle market and large commercial accounts.

Job Details
Commercial Lines account executive will work directly with agency clients to provide excellent service, comprehensive insurance offerings, and thorough reviews of existing policies.

Qualifications

Knowledge on all lines of business including General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, Commercial Property, etc.

Accurately file and maintain client data and activities in the agency management system

Collect all information needed for quotes

Shop new and renewal business accounts through insurance market within agency timelines and deadlines

Use our superior variety of carriers to multi-line up-sell current book of business

Market accounts to insurance carriers and/or provide required information to Commercial Sales Agents

Finalize and confirm all needed items and documents prior to reaching out to insured

Make and receive calls to agency insureds in a professional and courteous manner

Independent servicing of assigned book of business

Other duties as assigned

Understanding of Commercial Insurance Rating Factors

Communication proficiency in person, by phone and through emails with team members and insureds

Education and Experience

4-40 Insurance license / Customer Service

P&C license

High School Diploma

2+ Years in a professional office environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred Education And Experience

4 Year college degree

Proficiency with Vertafore AMS360 a plus
