In this role, you will partner with senior leaders to create innovative workforce strategies that align talent investments with business needs. You will be instrumental in building new capabilities that challenge traditional work methodologies, particularly through leveraging AI technologies. Your impact will be felt across a high-visibility, high-ambiguity environment, working closely with senior leaders and collaborating with Finance and Business Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Advise senior leaders in business and HR to craft a workforce strategy that aligns with business objectives.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Finance to translate workforce strategies into actionable one-to-three-year plans consistent with Amazon’s planning cycles.
Partner with our workforce planning tooling team to enhance our tools, providing AI-driven recommendations for various workforce scenarios.
Build trust with Amazon's senior leaders through executive influencing skills to develop collaborative strategies that yield measurable business impacts.
Utilize a workforce planning mental model and predictive analytics to create forward-looking plans with expected impacts on profitability.
Oversee workforce planning milestones from design to operationalization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Deliver outstanding written narratives that adhere to Amazon’s writing culture, facilitating alignment and informed decision-making.
Apply AI capabilities to enhance workflows for analysis, documentation, and coordination.
Occasionally travel for strategic meetings with senior leaders.

Basic Qualifications
6+ years of experience in analytical and quantitative roles, with strong communication and presentation skills.
A bachelor's degree or higher.
Proven experience collaborating with senior executives and leadership teams.
Background in workforce planning.
Experience leading complex cross-functional projects and programs.
Demonstrated analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in effective communication.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working alongside finance teams.
Exceptional writing skills.

The base salary range for this role is as follows:
USA, NY, New York - 163,600.00 - 221,300.00 USD annually
USA, VA, Arlington - 148,700.00 - 201,200.00 USD annually
USA, WA, Seattle - 148,700.00 - 201,200.00 USD annually
In addition to base salary, you will receive sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Comprehensive benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
