Director National Accounts (National Payors)
Responsibilities:
Lead national account management for access/reimbursement strategies, formulary coverage, medical policy development, contract negotiation, and relationship management.
Build strategic relationships with Medical and Pharmacy Directors; educate stakeholders on Dr. Reddy’s biologic portfolio.
Develop/refine payer access strategy with commercial/executive leadership (input on offerings, pricing, and contracting).
Execute customer-specific market access strategies.
Navigate Medicare Part A-D, Medicaid, and commercial payer policies; support reimbursement process, health policy, coverage, and payment.
Develop contract strategies to secure reimbursement coverage/access while protecting ASP and GTN.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support brand value propositions and formulary acceptance; partner with field teams on reimbursement and product/HCP pull-through.
Lead/develop matrix teams; build senior relationships and thought-leader advocacy.
Attend key conferences (PCMA, AMCP, Asembia) and review/analyze payer account/product performance.
Partner with legal/regulatory to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s required; MBA preferred.
10+ years US payer account management.
5+ years managing biologics and medical benefit drugs.
Skills/Attributes (required/preferred):
Payer strategy/business planning; strong negotiation and financial acumen.
National accounts leadership with deep industry relationships.
US product launch experience (specialty drugs preferred).
Knowledge of manufacturer compliance, reimbursement, and access; experience with HUB/co-pay/patient services.
Strong communicator, cross-functional leadership, organization, written/oral skills.
Ability to translate/compile data into reports; travel up to 50% as needed.
