About the Job

We are seeking a results-driven and dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing to lead revenue growth across The Seagate Hotel, Golf and Beach Club. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing group, leisure, catering sales and marketing while driving strategic initiatives that maximize revenue and elevate guest and client satisfaction at one of South Florida’s most iconic resorts in Delray Beach. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and relationship builder who thrives in a luxury, multi-property environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences.

What You Do:

Provide strategic leadership for all group, leisure, and catering sales across resort and club properties

Develop and implement sales strategies, policies, and initiatives to drive revenue growth and client retention

Set and achieve revenue targets through effective sales operations, forecasting, and performance management

Lead, coach, and support the sales, catering, and events team to ensure individual and team success

Monitor sales performance, provide ongoing feedback, and assist in closing key business opportunities

Oversee all catering and event sales, ensuring seamless execution from initial inquiry through event completion

Ensure timely responses to all inquiries and maintain high levels of client satisfaction

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders

Represent the resort and clubs at community events, trade shows, and industry functions to drive visibility and partnerships

Conduct property tours, presentations, and client entertainment in alignment with brand standards

Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic business decisions

Develop and manage monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and performance reports for leadership

Collaborate with revenue management and executive leadership to optimize pricing and sales strategies

Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of team members

Ensure all sales communications and contracts align with company standards and policies

Maintain strong relationships with long-term clients and evaluate third-party partnerships for profitability

Partner with marketing to support campaigns, promotions, and brand positioning initiatives

Support preparation of asset reports and leadership presentations as needed

Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture through engagement and recognition

Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality sales and catering leadership, preferably in luxury or high-volume environments

Proven success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets

Strong knowledge of sales techniques, including prospecting, negotiating, and closing

Experience managing catering, events, and group sales from inquiry through execution

Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills

Strong organizational, planning, and presentation abilities

Ability to build relationships and represent the brand professionally in the community

Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting and budget management

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales systems such as Delphi or similar platforms

Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business, or related field preferred

Professional, polished demeanor with a guest- and client-focused mindset

Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed

Ability to work extended hours in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
