Seeking actors for a short play, “Bodega Cat”, as part of Theatre's 2026 Summer One‑Act Festival. ONLY LOCAL & NY TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED.

About the project: A dark comedy set in a New York City bodega, Bodega Cat explores the collision of government bureaucracy and immigrant life.

Rate: Stipend for travel for NY/NJ residents only. Non union.

MUST be available for: Tech Rehearsal on 7/27 from 3pm-7pm. Performances on 7/29 at 6:30pm, 7/31 at 8:30pm, and 8/1 at 2pm.

SARA : Both genders, 18‑96 years old, African‑American, Latino/Hispanic, Other, Asian, Middle Eastern, Native American, Pacific Islander, Indian/South Asian. Role: Bodega cat (Middle Eastern, POC, female
