Marching Band Percussion Instructor

Qualified applicant must hold a valid/registered Illinois teaching license. This is a "Schedule A" additional duty position. Additional qualifications/skills required: Communication skills, building relationships, energetic and enthusiastic.
Responsibilities:
Attends all Marching Band rehearsals and performances in August, September, October, and November.
Creates warm-ups and additional music as needed to help with student learning.
Discusses rehearsal plans with other marching instructors.
Repairs any percussion equipment as needed.
Oversees percussion auditions and rehearsals that take place in April and May.
