A market-leading, private equity-backed services platform is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to play a central role in the continued execution of its highly active acquisition strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, this individual will serve as a key member of a sophisticated and proven M&A organization that has established itself as one of the most active consolidators in its sector.
This is a highly execution-oriented role within a mature and well-resourced corporate development function. The organization has a dedicated deal sourcing team responsible for pipeline generation and a separate integration team focused on post-close execution, allowing this position to remain heavily focused on full lifecycle transaction execution, diligence, valuation, negotiation support, and deal management across a high volume of acquisitions.

What You’ll Do
Lead and manage the execution of acquisitions from LOI through close across multiple simultaneous live transactions
Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment committee materials
Coordinate diligence efforts across legal, accounting, operational, HR, compliance, and other functional workstreams
Partner closely with internal leadership, external advisors, lenders, and sellers throughout the transaction process
Support negotiation processes, purchase agreement reviews, and transaction structuring discussions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the dedicated sourcing team to evaluate and prioritize new acquisition opportunities entering the pipeline
Partner with the integration team to ensure seamless transition and handoff of completed transactions
Collaborate with finance and leadership teams on acquisition reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking
Assist in refining and improving internal M&A processes, templates, and execution playbooks
Conduct market research, target analysis, and competitive benchmarking across priority markets
Support broader strategic growth initiatives through analytics, reporting, and acquisition pipeline management
Monitor and track transaction performance metrics, earn-outs, and post-close obligations as needed
What We’re Looking For
5–10+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or related M&A environments
Strong transaction execution experience with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent deals and workstreams
Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skillset with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with comfort interacting directly with founders, executives, advisors, and investors
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across sourcing, integration, finance, and operational teams
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CPA, or other advanced finance credentials are a plus
