Responsibilities
General Marketing and Communications Role:

Manage and develop content for four IPO social media accounts.

Manage and develop content for the office blog.

Develop content for the IPO newsletter.

Create advertisements for IPO events.

Videography Role:

Direct, shoot, and edit short‑form videos to promote study abroad programs.

Collect videos from study abroad and international students for editing into promotional videos.

Upload videos to IPO social media accounts and publicize them around campus flat screens.

Both positions will:

Assist with phones and student walk‑ins as needed.

Other projects as assigned.

Days/Hours Needed

4–10 hours per week – General Marketing and Communications role must have availability between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on either Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday, or 1:30–4:30 p.m. on Fridays.

5–10 hours per week – Videography role flexible based on projects.

Required Qualifications

Must be a current SUNY Cortland student.

Student must be in good academic and judicial standing.

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and maintain a positive attitude.

Must have a desire to work with students, faculty and staff.

Must demonstrate strong writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Students majoring in Professional Writing, English, Communication Studies, or Graphic Design and Digital Media majors are encouraged to apply.

Graphic design and digital media skills.

Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, or Avid. (please submit a reel/portfolio of your work).

Possess an understanding of current social media trends and practices.

Salary
A$ 16.00 per hour.
