You’ll work to develop marketing experiences across our owned channels that position our products as best‑in‑class, educate potential customers, and enable purchase. This content design role is available in California locations and requires hybrid‑in‑person work in the office three days per week.

Responsibilities
Gain product knowledge across our suite of offerings
Design meaningful and purpose‑driven end‑to‑end experiences that inform and guide customers toward the right product for their business
Proactively seek new knowledge and connections with marketing partners
Participate in customer research and qualitative testing to inform meaningful customer experience design for the web and beyond
Partner closely with marketing stakeholders and visual designers to build benefit‑driven storytelling that enables customers and prospects to make confident decisions
Transform complex financial jargon into conversational, approachable language
Craft web experiences, landing pages, emails, in‑product messages, microcopy, and other project deliverables
Help partners understand the QuickBooks voice and tone system—through examples, training, and review sessions
Collaborate effectively with designers, content strategists, product managers, marketers, and researchers; we are one big team and value everyone’s insights
Eagerly solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews
Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends
Explore broadly, then narrow to two or three based on experimentation and customer research
Lead and work on multiple projects at a time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in content design, content strategy, or related field
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Human‑Computer Interaction Design, or another relevant field; a master’s degree is a plus but not required
Deep knowledge of design principles and methods; you are a storyteller designer
Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results
Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
Excellent verbal and written English skills
A strong portfolio demonstrating your craft and collaborative process

This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender to drive fair pay. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Bay Area, California: $179,500 – $243,000
Southern California: $173,000 – $234,000
