Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

15 years of experience leading operations, partnerships, or communications in the political space.

5 years of experience in people management, growing, and developing teams.

Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications

Demonstrated history of building strong relationships with cross-functional partners to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes in a distributed, global setting.

Outstanding executive communication skills across technical topics.

Strong problem-solving capabilities to develop and deliver on measurable outcomes.

Excellent political judgment and enthusiasm to work across political lines.

About the job
The Global Civics Partnerships Lead has a dynamic, cross‑functional role focused on building partnerships with government officials and civic organizations to grow YouTube’s political ecosystem. The role includes:

Managing a US‑based team of Partner Managers and collaborating with colleagues worldwide.

Leading and executing strategy for the global Civics vertical, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to define goals, tactics, and measurable outcomes.

Overseeing daily operations, including sensitive engagements, and synthesizing multiple viewpoints to drive consensus and coherent communication.

Developing and executing initiatives to promote YouTube adoption and understanding among civic entities, optimizing impact and continuously improving internal processes and tracking systems.

Compensation: US salary range of $224,000–$312,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits.
