KUSA KTVD-TV, a TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate in Denver is looking for a full‑time morning video editor. The ideal candidate is proficient at creating captivating and shareable content for television, social media, and mobile platforms. You must be a self‑starter who is technologically savvy and can work under tight deadlines. The role requires a keen artistic eye, a deep understanding of editing and photography techniques, and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities

Use editing tools to create content for news broadcasts and digital platforms.

Employ creative production techniques such as graphics and new media to enhance stories.

Collaborate closely with news producers, reporters, photojournalists, and the digital team.

Requirements

BA/BS degree preferred.

Knowledge of non‑linear editing systems using Edius, Premiere, and Photoshop.

Interest in broadcast and digital news content.

Organizational skills and ability to work under deadline pressure.

Excellent communication skills.

Deadline‑oriented, maintaining quality while staying on tight schedules.

Ability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends.
