About the Role
Long Island Radio Broadcasting, home of WEHM/WBAZ/WBEA, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for cold calling, managing client accounts, and contributing to business development initiatives. This position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in digital sales and account management.
Salary + Commission and benefits package offered (38,000-45,000 base salary plus commission).
Duties
Generate and manage advertising accounts and maintain strong relationships with new customers as well as existing.
Collaborate with senior account executives to develop sales strategies and proposals tailored to client requirements.
Participate in business development activities aimed at expanding the company's market presence.
Prepare reports on sales activities and client feedback to help refine strategies and improve service offerings.
Support the negotiation process by providing necessary information and documentation to facilitate successful deals.
Requirements
College degree, valid driver's license.
Minimum one year of sales experience preferably in radio or media.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work within a team environment while also being self‑motivated.
Experience with MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
Familiarity with technical sales processes is a plus but not required.
Additional Information
