Internal Communications Manager
Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Communication:
Draft internal announcements, including organizational updates, employee news, HR communications, and CSR initiatives
Develop executive speeches and talking points to position leaders as thought leaders
Create original content showcasing business accomplishments, projects, and team achievements for multiple platforms (Echonet, CIB Content Hub, US website, digital channels, and social media)
Produce client-facing materials, thought leadership articles, and multi-channel campaigns that reinforce the company's brand and market positioning
Awards & Recognition:
Manage the awards pitching pipeline in collaboration with Marketing and Media Relations teams
Identify opportunities, coordinate submissions, and track progress
Oversee internal and external amplification of awards and recognitions
Analytics & Impact Assessment:
Manage analytical assessments of communications performance and content effectiveness
Provide insights to optimize reach and impact
Event & Engagement Management:
Plan and execute Town Halls, executive briefings, and employee engagement activities
Broadcast internal news via email, Echonet, and other communication channels
Platform & Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day internal communications operations
Manage Echonet platform administration, email distribution tools, and digital signage
Stakeholder Relations & Collaboration:
Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
Partner with Marketing & Communications teams, Internal Communications in Paris, CIB Content Hub, and Social Media teams
Employee Engagement Innovation:
Design and implement innovative employee engagement initiatives
Develop creative formats for town halls, digital experiences, and recognition programs
Guidelines & Compliance:
Implement and uphold internal communications guidelines
Contribute content to the weekly CIB internal newsletter
Additional Responsibilities:
Support ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience in internal communications, preferably within a bank or financial institution
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field
Intranet, mailing, and website management experience
Familiarity with social network platforms
Foundational knowledge of banking and markets
Excellent written, verbal communication, and strategic thinking skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to prioritize and organize complex initiatives
Ability to exercise independent judgment in a fast-paced environment
Strong stakeholder management and executive relationship-building skills
Analytical skills to synthesize data and derive actionable insights
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience supporting an Investment Banking business strongly encouraged
