Reliability Operations Technician II
This is a junior‑level, hands‑on role ideal for technicians early in their careers who are eager to learn reliability operations in a structured, team‑based environment.
The role reports to the Reliability Operations Manager (1st Shift) and works in an ESD‑safe, 6S laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor reliability test systems and chambers
Perform basic preventive maintenance and calibration on ovens and environmental chambers
Support burn‑in operations, including board setup, certification, troubleshooting, and basic repair
Assist with system improvements and documentation updates
Collect and compile test data for analysis and reporting
Perform manual and automated reliability testing, including device loading/unloading
Use microscopes and basic lab tools for inspection and testing
Work closely with other shifts to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on daily goals
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized 6S work environment
Escalate issues appropriately when safety or product quality may be at risk
Requirements
Associate’s degree in electronics, electrical technology, mechatronics, mechanical technology, or related field OR equivalent hands‑on technical experience
1‑3 years of relevant technician, lab, manufacturing, or test experience
Basic understanding of electronics, mechanical systems, or test equipment
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and document work clearly
Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes
Ability to work in an ESD‑safe environment and follow safety procedures
Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail
Preferred Requirements
Exposure to reliability testing, environmental stress testing, or lab operations
Experience with soldering / de‑soldering electronic components
Familiarity with C‑SAM (Scanning Acoustic Microscopy) or ultrasound‑based inspection
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing or quality‑driven environment

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $29 to $37.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
