We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our online presence across multiple channels. This mid-level role is responsible for content creation, copywriting, strategy, and day-to-day management of six social media accounts spanning our Tulsa and OKC locations: two Facebooks, two Instagrams, one LinkedIn, and one YouTube. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, passionate about storytelling for a mission-driven cause, and capable of thinking ahead to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute social media strategies across all channels, aligned with organizational goals and mission.

  • Create compelling content, including graphics, photos, videos, and written copy that highlights the impact and stories of Little Light House.

  • Manage publishing schedules, maintain consistency across all platforms, and ensure brand alignment for both Tulsa and OKC channels.

  • Drive and strategize engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community interaction.

  • Collaborate with the Creative Manager and marketing team to plan campaigns, promotions, and omnichannel initiatives.

  • Stay current with social media trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to optimize reach and engagement.

  • Film and edit videos for social media, including on-camera appearances when necessary.

  • Lead social media content during miscellaneous events and major fundraisers, fostering community both digitally and in-person.

  • Track performance metrics and prepare reports on social media growth and engagement.

  • Contribute forward-thinking ideas for new platforms, campaigns, or initiatives to expand organizational reach.

  • Support the Creative and Marketing team with miscellaneous responsibilities, such as designing outreach materials, assisting with events, brainstorming creative campaigns, and providing backup support for team projects.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • Proven experience managing multiple social media channels in a professional setting.

  • Creative mindset with a willingness to innovate and experiment with content to a high standard of excellence.

  • Strong knowledge of social media strategy, trends, and community engagement.

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Meta Business Suite, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, CapCut (or similar video editing software), and Mailchimp.

  • Skilled in photography, videography, and on-camera presentation.

  • Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working in a team-focused, mission-driven environment.

  • Passionate about children with special needs and nonprofit causes.

  • Experiments, stays curious, and has a growth mindset.


Preferred Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, or a related field.

  • Experience working in faith-based or nonprofit organizations.

  • Forward-thinking approach with an interest in emerging social media trends and future opportunities.


Full-time, in-person in Tulsa, OK.


Occasional travel to the Oklahoma City location.
