Role Overview
AWS Global Sales seeks a Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to help customers realize sustained business value by accelerating their customer transformation journey. The CSM will design and rapidly execute strategic migrations to the AWS cloud and build modern, cloud‑native solutions that fulfil customer ambitions. The role requires a strategic business mindset, technical acumen, program and change‑management skills, and the ability to challenge the status quo and align multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Develop trust with customers across their organization, identify strategic opportunities, and uncover cloud use cases.

Create roadmaps and actionable program plans, capture success criteria, orchestrate advanced technical architectures, and establish programmatic governance.

Own and drive execution excellence across the end‑to‑end customer cloud journey—technical, operational, organizational, and educational—across IT teams, executives, and business units.

Utilize AWS best practices to design and execute frictionless cloud adoption experiences.

Contribute to business and technical discussions, ask relevant questions to uncover dependencies, and balance customer needs with engineering teams.

Convey detailed technical knowledge verbally, in writing, and via diagram to both internal and external teams.

Provide guidance on best practices during customer technical discussions and continually improve program/process efficiency.

Use knowledge of AWS services and related technologies to recommend applicable solutions.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of leading large‑scale, technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business case development, customer benefit realization, and successful program completion.

2+ years of customer‑facing work engaging with customer executives, technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies.

Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business or equivalent.

Experience leading technical and non‑technical transformation project teams with ability to work across broad functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification, SCRUM/Agile, or SAFe certification.

Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar.
