Personal Lines account manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new personal lines business production through inbound opportunities, referrals, and relationship development.
  • Monitor and manage the inside sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-up and accurate tracking of opportunities.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics including quote-to-bind ratios, pipeline activity, and close rates.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement improvements to increase conversion and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Executive Vice President to support agency growth initiatives and sales strategy development.
  • Assign incoming opportunities to inside sales team members and ensure accountability for follow-through.
  • Develop and maintain standardized sales workflows, templates, and communication processes.
  • Assist with onboarding and coaching new inside sales team members.
  • Maintain and service a personal book of business while ensuring high client retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members and carriers to deliver competitive coverage solutions.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of personal lines insurance sales or account management experience.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Strong understanding of personal lines coverages and carrier underwriting guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and track performance metrics.
