Move forward fearlessly.About the RoleAs a Senior Digital Production Artist, you'll be a key member of HLK's creative department and studio team, helping bring ideas to life across a wide range of digital and brand experiences.This role is responsible for producing and delivering high-quality creative assets including digital advertising, websites, brand design, presentations, email, and social content. You are often the last person to touch the work before it reaches the client or consumer, ensuring every deliverable meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship.We believe the best ideas emerge through collaboration, mentorship, and shared experiences, which is why this role is based onsite in either our St. Louis or Chicago office.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with art directors, designers, developers, and other agency team members to deliver high-quality work across a variety of clients and channelsPrepare final, traffic-ready files including digital display advertising, email, web assets, social content, comps, and presentations based on supplied specificationsBuild and deliver HTML5 animated display banners that meet client and publisher specifications using Google Web Designer or comparable production toolsCreate organized, scalable files that can be easily updated, handed off, and iterated on throughout a campaign's lifecycleDigitally manipulate, enhance, retouch, and resize images for comps, ads, and final artworkCreate files for client review and electronically deliver artwork for final production and web usageReview files prior to release to ensure adherence to agency, client, platform, and vendor standardsWhat You'll BringCuriosity about how brands, customers, and businesses operate, and a desire to understand the purpose behind the work being producedExacting standards and a passion for detailA process-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and consistencyDeep knowledge of Figma components, libraries, and design systemsInterest in emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools, and a desire to explore practical ways they can enhance creative workflowsAdaptability and a desire to improve workflows, embrace new tools, and help evolve the way work gets doneThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple prioritiesQualifications4+ years of production experience, including at least 2 years focused on digital work, preferably within an agency or production studio environmentDeep proficiency in Figma, including building and maintaining component libraries and design systemsProficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Google WorkspaceExperience with photo retouching and image manipulationStrong QA discipline, including experience building to exact ad specifications across digital platformsDisciplined file organization, naming conventions, and version control practices that support efficient collaboration and handoffsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detailStrong sense of accountability, ownership, and follow-throughStrong portfolio demonstrating production excellence and attention to detailPreferredExperience with print productionExperience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or banner production toolsCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $70,000 - $90,000, depending on experience and qualificationsFlexible work environmentCasual and creative atmosphereUnlimited time offPaid sabbaticalParental leaveMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with company match
