On The Table is a Columbus-based restaurant group behind Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill, a Midwest staple with 11 locations across Ohio and Indiana, and Sycamore, an upscale independent concept in Columbus's German Village. Role Overview

We're looking for a creative, design-forward intern to join our marketing team for 12 weeks. You'll work on real projects, see your work in market, and finish the internship with a capstone project that puts your skills on full display. If you love making things look good and have opinions about fonts, we want to meet you. This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications and collaborates with outsourced creative partners to bring campaigns to life across both brands.


What You'll Do

  • Design digital and print assets including social graphics, promotional materials, menus, in-store signage, event collateral, and more
  • Assist in scheduling, posting, and monitoring content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Support email marketing efforts including asset creation and campaign coordination
  • Collaborate with outsourced creative partners on campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Support campaign execution across both the Beer Barrel and Sycamore brands
  • Maintain strict adherence to brand guidelines across all touchpoints and deliverables
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on seasonal promotions, launches, and events
  • Complete a capstone project tailored to your strengths and the needs of the business


What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are a must
  • A portfolio that shows both digital and print work (and a point of view)
  • Familiar with social media platforms and what makes content actually perform
  • Understanding of email marketing principles and digital campaign workflows
  • A keen eye for brand consistency, you follow the guidelines and know why they matter
  • Creative, curious, and not afraid to bring ideas to the table
  • Organized enough to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
  • Genuine passion for food, restaurants, and local Columbus businesses
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, upbeat, collaborative work environment

  • 20–25 hours per week
  • $18–$20/hour based on experience

  • In-person at our Downtown Columbus HQ
